Obituary of Gordon Ott

Ott, Gordon Bruce - Passed away peacefully at the St. Joseph's Lifecare Centre on Monday, March 14, 2022 in his 71st year. Beloved husband of the late Joanne (nee: Letink). Predeceased by his parents Marshall and Barbara, and his brother Jimmy. He will be fondly remembered by his in-laws Trudy and Terry Jackson, Jane and Peter Hudder, Helen and the late Rick Rivers and Jenny and Terry Rivers. Survived by his cousin Debbie Ott and many nieces and nephews. Great friend to Sonja and James Johnstone, beloved GG to Jacob, Brooklyn and Quinn. Beloved neighbor of Christine Makarchuk. Gord was an employee at Sternson Ltd. for over 40 years. Gord and Joanne spent most of their weekends at Long Point on their boat, The Summer Wind. He was an avid cat lover and Star Trek fan. A special thanks to the staff at St. Joseph's Lifecare Centre for the wonderful care of Gord. At the family's request, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will take place at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue, (519) 752-4331.
