Obituary of Shirley Jean White

White, Shirley Jean - Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on March 7th, 2022 in her 89th year. Our dear mother is survived by her loving children Jack (Nancy), Fred (Sharon), Cathy (Joe), Sharon (John), David and Candy (Wayne). Fondly remembered by 13 cherished grandchildren and 12 adored great grandchildren. Shirley is survived by her 2 sisters Donna and Ann and 2 brothers Gerry, George and their families. Predeceased by her loving husband Wesley of 64 years, her parents Alpheus and Edith King and her sister Mary and brother Ken. Deeply missed by many family and friends who she loved dearly. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre on Sunday March 13th, 2022 from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm. A funeral service will take place on Monday, March 14th, 2022 11:00 a.m. at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave., Brantford, 519-752-4331. Masks are required and social and physical distancing must be adhered too. Interment at Farringdon Burial Grounds. The family wish to extend a sincere Thank-You to Dr. Liaconis and all the nurses and staff at the Brantford General Hospital and the Willet for the loving care Shirley received. A tree will be planted in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest in memory of Shirley.
