Rutherford, David - Passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer, at the Brantford General Hospital on Thursday, December 16, 2021 in his 57th year. Beloved husband of the late Mary "Maggie" (nee: Beal). Loving father of Andrew, Erin and her partner Annalise. Caring grandfather of Amelia. Dear brother of Diane Wallace (Randy) and Allan (Rebecca). Much loved son of Patricia and the late Dale Rutherford. Dave was an active and friendly face loved by everyone. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre on Sunday from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm. A Celebration of Dave's life will be held in the chapel on Monday at 11:00 am. Due to Covid 19 face masks and social distancing will be required. Cremation. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of your choice would be appreciated. Donations, condolences and a live funeral web-cast are available online at www.beckettglaves.com. A tree will be planted in memory of Dave in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
