Obituary of Ralph Mannen

Mannen, Ralph David - Passed away peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on Thursday, July 22, 2021 in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Faye for over 63 years. Loving father of Kelly (Rick) Hureau, Linda (Wray) Misener, Mark (Gina) and Brian (Sue). Dearly missed by grandchildren Becky (Todd), Krista (Colter), Spencer (Brittany), Alicia (Marty), Taylor (Brandon), Matthew, Andrew and Jacob and by great -grandchildren Rhett, Kip, Ayla and Harper. Survived by sister Norma Abbott and sisters in law Lillian and Betty Mannen. Predeceased by his brothers Ross, Raymond, Russell and brother in law Ron Abbott and sister in law Marilyn Mannen. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours. Ralph was happiest when he was traveling, fishing, hunting, gardening and always enjoyed a good game of cards. Family and friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave., Brantford, 519-752-4331 on Sunday, July 25, 2021 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. A private funeral service will be taking place. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, face masks must be worn and social distancing practices must be adhered to. A live funeral webcast will commence on Monday, July 26, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Juravinski Hospital would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Ralph in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
