Obituary of Lucas Ian Hastings

It is with great profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Lucas Ian Hastings at his home on May 23rd, 2021 at the age of 27. Beloved son of Ian and Andrea Hastings. He will be deeply missed by his twin sister Ellie Hastings, big sister Shannon Hastings, and big brother Jon-Paul Hastings. Loving uncle to Tristan and Finn and loving grandson of Shirley Lucas. Much loved by his aunts and uncles, and his many cousins. Luke was the kindest soul with a wonderful smile. He loved hanging out with friends, playing guitar and banjo, and having jam sessions, especially with his dad. Luke’s greatest love was for painting and the arts. Family and friends will be received at Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave., Brantford, 519-752-4331 on Monday, May 31st from 1:00pm-3:00pm and 5:00pm-7:00pm. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, face masks must be worn and social and physical distancing must be adhered too. Please contact the funeral home to arrange visitation appointment. Interment and a celebration of life for Luke will take place at a later date when a bigger gathering can be done safely. If desired, donations to the Brant County SPCA would be appreciated.
