Obituary of Mary Monk

Mary passed away peacefully at the John Noble Home on Sunday, April 11, 2021 in her 70th year. Mary is survived by her sister-in-law Vera Monk, nephew Stuart and niece Michelle. Vera, she loved the dinner you and Stuart prepared ! She is also survived by her dear friends Melody and Carl Sterback and Ruth Humphries. Predeceased by her parents Olive and John Monk and her brother Godfrey Benning "Ben" Monk. At the family's request, cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. Arrangements are entrusted to the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue, (519) 752-4331. Donations to the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Mary in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest. Mary was a keen Bible student who loved to show her faith ! To the staff at the John Noble Home: A special thank you to the ladies and gentlemen who looked after Mary since May 15, 2014. You all know who you are and what you did, doing the little things (and sometimes the big) to make her feel at ease to make her feel comfortable. Your richness and humour will never be forgotten ! And... you know she had nicknames for all of you. To the collective congregations of Jehovah's Witness of Brantford, you were her spiritual family.
