Durnford-Bain, Thelma - Passed away peacefully at the St. Josephs Lifecare Centre on Sunday, March 14th, 2021 in her 99th year. Reunited with her husband Gordon and son Ray Boyce. Cherished grandmother of Scott Boyce and great grandmother of Savanna. Survived by sister Norma Hounam. Fondly remembered by friend and honourary daughter Colleen McCauley-Auclair and family. Deeply missed by her great-nieces Kari Wilson and Kristen Wilson and their families. Predeceased by her husbands Raymond Boyce and Ted Durnford and niece Heather Wilson. Fondly remembered by all her extended family friends and all who knew her. A graveside service will take place on Monday, March 22nd, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Hope Cemetery 169 Charing Cross St. Brantford. Funeral arrangements are entrusted with Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave. Brantford, 519-752-4331. The family would like to thank Dr. Hadley, the staff and support workers at St. Joseph's Lifecare centre on lilac lane for the excellent care and compassionate support for Thelma. Memorial donations in memory of Thelma to St. Joseph's Lifecare Centre would be appreciated.
A tree will be planted in memory of Thelma in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest
