Chaffay, Ronald Joseph
Passed away peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on February 10th, 2021 at the age of 84, and a day shy of his 60th wedding anniversary to his beloved Helen (predeceased). Ron is also predeceased by his son Ronald Jr (Carolyn and Michael). Ron is survived by his loving son Kevin and daughter-in-law Jan, and his cherished grandchildren Dr. Brandon Chaffay and Brianne Chaffay (Avery). Ron will be greatly missed by his brother Vince Chaffey and sister Barb Campbell (Mark) of Halifax, Nova Scotia. He will be fondly remembered by extended family members as well as his friends at Smokey Hollow and Tranquility Place. Ron was a lifelong Boston Bruins fan and well known for his love and delivery of a good joke. In accordance with Ron’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted with Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave., Brantford, 519-752-4331. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Brant Community Healthcare Systems Foundation.
A tree will be planted in memory of Ronald in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
