Obituary of Sharon Margaret Ellen Bentley

Please share a memory of Sharon to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Sharon Margaret Ellen Bentley nee ‘Blume’ peacefully and surrounded by her family on Remembrance Day November 11th, 2020 as the sun was setting. Sharon was surrounded and survived by her husband William (Bill) of 55 years (1965) and her three children Crystal, Trevor and her forever baby Cynthia and her Son and daughter in-laws Duffy and Darlene. She was loved by her 8 Grand Children Natalie, Owen, Ryan, Nathan, Carter, Emma, Sierra and Peyton and her best four legged friend Casey. Sharon was the predeceased by her Mother Ellen, Father George Blume, her Brother Norman and Sister Diane. Sharon (born 1946) was a baby pageant CHAMPION of 1948 at the Canadian National Exhibition and won’t let anyone forget it. Sharon’s baby pageant prowess was matched only by her fierce love and protective instinct of her family. This was most evidenced through the constant attendance at Hockey and Rugby Games, Dance Recitals and Jiu Jitsu tournaments. Perhaps best exemplified in an instance with a Hockey Referee scolding after a particularly spirited (just like her) Hockey game in Brantford. Her infinite capacity for love, compassion and bringing people together will be sorely missed by all who knew her, including her extended family, nieces, nephews and their families. ~ We love you Mom.~ A tree will be planted in memory of Sharon in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
