Stoner, Guy, Malcolm June 26th, 1955-May 29th, 2020 It is with deep and profound sadness, that we announce the sudden passing of Guy Malcolm Stoner on May 29, 2020, in his 65th year. Guy is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Aylene Stoner, his brother Doug Stoner (Jane), his nephew, Jeffery (Nina) and niece Susie Cullingham (Kevin) and his brother-in-law James (Laura). Guy is predeceased by his parents Don and Ruth. Guy was also a loving "father" to six cats, Zeus, Phoebe, Molly, Turkey, Pumpkin and Gracie. Guy worked at many different types of jobs over the years but was well known in the community as a local musician, particularly as a bass player and vocalist in such bands such as the Reyvons, the Natural Edge, Grass Tax and the Kilbillies. He had a great passion for music particularly the Beatles. He was also a collector of guitars, various musical instruments and antique radios. Guy has an eclectic sense of style. He also had a love of animals as well as antique cars. Guy was an avid reader of biographies and was an accomplished musicophile especially of the Beatles and music of the 50's to the 90's. Cremation has taken place and due to the Covid restrictions a celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to BECKETT-GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Ave. Brantford, 519-752-4331. Donations in his memory can be made to the Brant County SPCA or the Canadian Mental Health Association. A tree will be planted in memory of Guy in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
