We are truly devastated to hear of Sheila's passing. Sheila was an amazing lady who was adored by all of us.

Sending my heart felt condolences to the Bilmes family. Sheila was my best friend and we shared many meals together.

We loved playing crib and she won most of our games. That brought a wonderful smile from her oh yes and teasing,

Euchre night will really miss her humor. One night she started singing Anything you can do I can do it better and than she asked me to sing. With reminding me of the words, I sang No you can't. and of course she sang Yes I Can. We sang really loud with

emphasizing the yes and no words.

She had the knack of making me smile or laugh. I admired her strength and courage during the past few years. She was a remarkable woman.

Sending my deepest condolences on the loss of your Mother. We were swim buddies for many years & shared many laughs. There wasn’t a day she came to the pool without a smile or a greeting to staff & patrons alike. Her upbeat attitude was an inspiration to so many as she persevered through her many health challenges. We continued contact via internet when she could no longer come to the pool. She will be greatly missed!

I'm so sorry to hear of Sheila's passing. I used to teach the 10:30 am aquafit class at the Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre that she attended and Sheila was one of my favourite participants! I loved her sarcastic and playful sense of humour and how she was always smiling and telling jokes. Her pure strength in attending almost every class was something to be admired. I definitely missed seeing her face when she was no longer able to come to the centre to swim. She will be missed by all that knew her.

I am so very sorry to hear about the passing of your Mom Sheila. She was a long time member of our Gretzky Family and we will forever miss her beautiful smile, her wicked sense of humour but most of all her determination to never let anything get her down. We have so missed seeing her come every day to swim but never expected to here of her passing so quickly. I hope that you will find peace at knowing she was well loved by the Gretzky Centre family and all the staff she came in contact with. We will miss her very much!
