Obituary of Sherry Stren

STREN, Sherry In the early morning of February 15th, at the age of 70, Sherry Stren gently passed away after spending precious final time with people who loved her dearly. Beloved daughter of Sadie and Maurice Stren of Brantford, Ontario, both deceased, cherished sister to the late David Stren and to Patti Stren and husband, Richard Cohen. A longtime resident of Caressant Care in Woodstock, Ontario, Sherry will be remembered by everyone she touched there and in her previous home for her indomitable spirit and sweet nature. The family would especially like to thank Sherry’s companion, Jane Raffin, who became her dearest friend, for the many years of love and sincere attention she bestowed on Sherry. Words cannot express the family's deep gratitude to Dr. J. Nichols and all the staff at Caressant Care who took such beautiful care of Sherry, giving her opportunities to feel happiness and comfort though living with limiting circumstances. We are comforted that Sherry is now basking in love and dancing on moonbeams. Friends will be received at the BECKETT - GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Avenue, 519-752-4331 on Tuesday (today), February 18th, from 1-1:45 p.m. A Graveside Service will follow at the Beth David Cemetery, 169 Charing Cross Street at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Ontario Federation for Cerebral Palsy.
