Condolences
I can’t say I remember Gerry very well... I was probably 8 years old (and he 15) the last time we were all together as kids at my parents house in Stellarton. I have some vague memories of us all having a fun time with all the Murphy’s and with Dot and senior Gerry. Mom (aunt Joan Murphy ) and dad ( Bryce) both said how sorry they are to learn of his passing. The Richardson family would like to express our sincere condolences to Gerrys immediate family and siblings.
Memories of sitting around the kitchen table at Dot’s (hazel) playing rumoli with our nickels. Shawn would never show me cause he always wanted to win. But Gerry alway made sure I didn’t miss the pot and followed the rules. Especially when the poker round happened.
Tricia and family so sorry to hear about Gerry’s passing .John was just talking about the good times him and Murphy as John always called had. Even though they drifted John often talked of you both. Being Johns sister I often met his friends and when i met Murphy and realized he was married to Tricia it was funny as we went to camp together as kids Tricia and I .I can say Murphy was a great guy who loved his sports .and to raz people in a fun way. Tricia please take care of yourself .our condolences to you all. Johnny and Julie
Gerry, we had great times and some bad, we always were back to back and never toe to toe. Irish warriors never die, your legend will live on forever.
To my captain, my brother, my best friend, I will always love you.
James
