Passed away peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital with his family by his side on Friday, October 4, 2019 in his 84th year. Beloved husband of the late Beulah. Loving father of Marilyn Warren, Betty Pineo (Mike), Norma MacDonald (John) and Patti Corey (Randy). Devoted grandfather of 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Gerald retired from Bell Canada in 2000. He will be deeply missed by all his extended family and friends. The family would like to thank the staff at the Brantford General Hospital for their care, compassion and respect for Gerald. At his request cremation has taken place and a private service will take place at a later date. Funeral Arrangements are entrusted with BECKETT-GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Ave. Brantford, 519-752-4331. Donations to the Brantford General Hospital would be appreciated.
A tree will be planted in memory of Gerald in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
