Condolences
Our sincere condolences Wayne and family with the passing of Marilyn. Kathy and Mike Strik.
I shared some times with Marilyn at the dance studio during our after-school duties with our granddaughters.
She was always such a sweet and lovely person to talk with. I will remember her fondly and I extend my sincere
sympathy for your loss. Thoughts and prayers.
I met Marilyn in September 1986. We started painting together in Burford with Penny Everingham. We have many memories and the laughter was abundant. She would come to my country home and we would paint all day. Her family was her dearest JOY.
Marilyn loved and treated everyone with respect and had such compassion and generous heart. I can’t imagine life without her. Christmas shopping with her was magical and took me back in time when I was a young girl, it was so much fun. Our husbands would shake knowing we were going to lunch and knew that meant shopping.
To you Wayne and Todd and Cheryl, Claudia, Meagan and Alyvia you will hurt as her Life was perfect beyond words. She gave you a lifetime of memories. Stay close to each other and remember her life was yours. Live your life by her example and happiness will light your path.
Peace,
Fran Chowhan

Marilyn and I worked together at Brantford General Hospital for 13 years. She was my mentor and my backup during busy shifts. Always willing to help at work and a positive energy during our friendship. She was the most compassionate and kind nurse on the ward. We had some great times at work....talking about our families and pulling out pictures of our Grandchildren during quiet times on a night shift. I will never forget her coffee order.... medium coffee with milk 1/2 sugar.
We had some great times shopping in Erie, Port Stanley ,Port Dover and recently Stratford. I could always count on Marilyn to coach me on what jewelry would look best with my new outfit!
Marilyn knew how to host a Christmas lunch ...the house all beautifully decorated and a gift beside our wine glass. That was our Marilyn ... always taking care of her friends. Going to to miss my friend Marilyn and our future lunch dates.
My deepest condolences to Wayne, Todd and Cheryl, Claudia, Meagan and Alyvia. Hoping you will find comfort in knowing Marilyn was loved and admired by her colleagues and friends.
Sorry about your loss thinking about you and your family
