NEWSTEAD, Richard Gordon Alvin "Rick"

The family wishes to announce the peaceful passing of Richard in Brantford on Monday, May 13 , 2019.  Beloved husband of Laurel Newstead.  Cherished father of Richard Newstead Jr. and Rebecca (Terry) Newstead.  Proud grandfather of Nancy and Ricky.  Fondly remembered by siblings David Elkin (Lillian), Darlene Usher (Nelson) and Linda Miller (Glenn).  Welcomed into heaven by his parents Alvin and Edna and sister June and brother Jack.  He will be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.  Friends will be received at the Beckett - Glaves Family Funeral Centre on Wednesday, May 15, from 12-2 p.m.  A funeral service will follow in the chapel at 2:00 p.m.  Cremation to follow. Donations to the Brant S.P.C.A. would be greatly appreciated.
