Obituary of Joseph Torjak

TORJAK, Joseph "Joe" It is with profound sadness and sorrow the family of Joseph Torjak announce his passing on Saturday, April 13th, 2019, at the Stedman Community Hospice. Beloved husband of Yvonne for over 59 years. Only son of the late Joseph and Julianna Torjak. Unfortunately a family of his own was not to be. He will be sadly missed by his brothers-in-law Edward (the late Elsie), David (Debbie), Phillip (Diane), James, Timothy (Lois) and his sisters-in-law Therese (Dave) and Roxie (the late Edward). He will also be missed by many other family members and friends. Joe had a passion for restoring classic and antique cars, and when he was not indulging in that hobby he found time to start his own companies. Joe was the owner/operator of Torjak Developments in Belle River, Ontario and River Range Motors. He was a past president of Belle River Lions Club and the Historical Transportation Village Essex Ontario. Friends will be received at the BECKETT - GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Avenue, on Wednesday, April 17th, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow. Donations to the Stedman Community Hospice and Lions Canada would be greatly appreciated.
