Jyoti was one of the kindest and gentlest people I have ever had the privilege to know. I hope there is some comfort in knowing that someone so incredible will never be forgotten.

Words can't express how sorry we are at the great loss in the family. Jyoti, my beloved sister will always be remembered as a woman with an exceptional amount of courage and strength. It was a great honour to be associated to this wonderful selfless soul who had the spark of positivity so contagious that would bring a smile of joy to everyone. My heartfelt condolences to Paulo and the children. I know that these words aren't suffice to replace the great loss, but we can believe that she is in a better place now.

I was a social work colleague of Jyoti's but much more than that. We developed a wonderful friendship over the years and I often told her that she reminded me so much of my daughter....so many of the same mannerisms and clear sighted intelligence. Jyoti was an inspired voyager. I will miss her deeply.
