Bragg, George Albert (August 8, 1918 - February 09, 2018)
George passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's Lifecare Centre, on Friday, February 9th, 2018 in his 100th year. Left to treasure his memory are his wife of 72 years, Phyllis, and daughters, Carol Sirvinskas and her husband Hank, and Patricia Bruner and her husband Clare Coulson. George was loved and cherished by his 3 grandchildren, Stacey Burtch (Brian), Heather LeVar (Jon), and Richard Bruner (Katie), as well as his 2 great-grandchildren Sarah and Matthew LeVar. George was the last surviving member of his generation. He was predeceased by his parents George and Florence Bragg, and brothers and sisters Ada Copeland, Alberta Cleaver, Jack Bragg, Alice Silverthorne and Arthur Bragg. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave, on Monday, February 12th, 2018 from 11:00 am - 12:00 p.m. A Graveside Committal Service will follow the visitation at Mt. Hope Cemetery, 169 Charing Cross Street. George's family would like to thank Dr. Hadley and the staff at the St. Joseph's Lifecare Centre for their long time care and compassion. Donations to the St. Joseph's Lifecare Centre, or charity of your choice would be appreciated. Condolences, donations, and visitation, and committal service details will be available at www.beckettglaves.com.
A tree will be planted in memory of George in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
