Obituary of Margaret Meyer

MEYER, Margaret "Ruth" (nee Stobbs) Passed away peacefully on Friday, January 19th, 2018 at the Stedman Community Hospice - Hankinson House, in her 89th year. Beloved wife of Bernie Meyer for over 59 years. Loving mother of Jack Meyer, Scott (Cathy) Meyer and the late Mike Meyer (1986). Cherished nana of Autumn and Mike. She will also be dearly missed by many other family members and friends. Predeceased by her parents Jack and Margaret Stobbs, and her brothers Ray, Gord and Frank Stobbs. Ruth was a hairdresser in Brant County for many years, very much enjoyed her time renovating older homes, and would be described by her family as a professional shopper, especially her infamous trips to Michigan. Special thanks to the staff and doctors at the Stedman Community Hospice for all their care and support. Friends will be received at the BECKETT - GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Avenue on Thursday, January 25th, from 10 - 11 a.m. A Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Donations in lieu of flowers to the Stedman Community Hospice would be greatly appreciated.
