Tollar, Marna Passed away unexpectedly at the Hamilton General Hospital on Thursday, January 11, 2018 in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of the late Jack Tollar for over 61 years. Loving mother of Jacklyn (Bob) Tollar-Hunks. Devoted "Nana" to her 7 grandchildren Noah, Caleb, Jonah, Hannah, Elijah, Levi, and Isaiah. Marna had a cherished relationship with her daughter and a special bond with each of her much loved grandchildren. She is survived by her sisters Olive (Graham) Pluck, Lorna (Ross) Goyit, and Donna (Brian) Dobrowolski, and her brother Russell (Linda) Stewart. Predeceased by her parents Russell and Eileen (nee Laughlin) Stewart, and her sister Mary Lahosky. She will also be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and friends. She was a long time retired employee of the Brantford General Hospital, and long time active member of St. James Anglican Church, where she taught Sunday School for over 30 years. Her family would like to include a special thank you to Donna and Brian for their love and support throughout the last few months. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Marna's life will be held at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave. on Wednesday, January 17th, 2018 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Donations to the McMaster Children's Hospital would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Marna in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
