Obituary of Jean Spencer

Spencer, Jean L (nee Rideout)

Peacefully, after a courageous battle with Alzheimers, at the Brantford General Hospital on Monday, January 8th, 2018 in her 89th year. Beloved mother of the late (baby) Eugene, the late Dianne, the late Dennis, Adrian (Penny), and Karen (the late Paul) Spencer-Bell. Devoted "Gigi" to Denise (Steve), Doris (Stan), Mark (Michelle), and Shawn (Mary), and her great-grandchildren Tayte, Ethan, Aidan, Reese, and Chase. She will also be fondly remembered by loving partner for over 35 years, Ed, and her many other family members and friends. She is predeceased by her mother "Kaddie May", and her best friend Eileen Spencer. Jean is dancing with the stars. At Jean's request, cremation has been arranged through the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, (519) 752-4331. A Celebration of Jean's life will be held at the Dunson Legion #461, 9 Tollgate Road, Brantford on January 20th, 2018 from 12 - 3 p.m.

A tree will be planted in memory of Jean in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
