Obituary of Donald Dale

Dale, Donald Joseph Passed away peacefully at Hardy Terrace on Tuesday, July 18th, 2017 in his 70th year. Loving father of Dana and Koda Dale and stepfather to Julieanne Burchill Smith. Devoted "Gdad" to Chrissy Walsh, Jessi, Austin and Darcy Allard, Rihanna Dale, Kallee Piper Bowen, and Atticus Piper Bowen, and "Great-Gdad" to Bentley and Mason Bowen, and Lilly Rae Patterson. Donald was the son of Margaret Roach, and Joseph Dale, and was also very fond of his foster parents Rose and Victor Battalia, and their children Mary Conner and Sal Battalia. Don loved to travel, going for long drives, hockey, and soaking up the sun. He worked for Agnew Shoes for over 40 years. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre on Saturday from 10 - 11 a.m. A Memorial Service will follow in the chapel on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Donations to the Lansdowne Childrens' Centre would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Donald in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
