I wish I could have said good-bye in person to a great man and someone that was admired. Knowing Mike and his love for his family, he will always be looking down and watching over them. I know he would understand the great Bobby Jones quote " golf is the closest game to this game we call life, you get bad breaks from good shots and good breaks from bad shots, but you always play the ball where it lies."

Tu hiciste que mi estancia en Canada fuera mas agradable y era divertido llevarte a jugar al golfito y por las noches jugar cartas y "manotazo" que como te hacia reir!! Hasta siempre primo querido. There is a hole in my life. Every time Mike took one of the cars in for service he called me and I would pick him up and we would play snooker at the Air Force club a couple of blocks away. Win or lose he enjoyed the chance to play. He often beat me and was a gentleman about it, if he lost,well that is another story.

I also played on the air force 2 team for a while.

He never complained, however you knew he was not feeling well. He fought many health battles over the years. Always willing to listen or help. I could not help loving the man.

The hole will always be with me.

I will pray for the whole family as we chatted often about them . I will honour him and the family Wednesday. From the man with the white beard and ponytail, yes he commented on it in Mike's humourous way. I will think of him and his family often.

I know how good of an Advisor Mike was and I'm sure all of Mike's clients will miss Mike greatly as an Advisor but mostly as a true friend. He had such a passion for his job and loved to help people.
