Obituary of Barbara McDonald

McDONALD, Barbara Julia (nee Bubb-Clarke) Called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 27th, 2017. Barbara passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family and friends. Beloved wife of the late James W. McDonald (2004). Loving mother of Kathryn Cochrane and John McDonald. Much loved grandma of Scott (Carrie) Cochrane and Mark (Lori) Cochrane and great-grandma of Carter, Ella, Eve and Claire. Special friends of Joan Andrews and Mary Reading. She will also be dearly missed by many other family members and friends, here in Canada, Jamaica, and the USA. The secretary of the Paris Presbyterian Church for over 26 years, Barbara was deeply involved in her church community with her focus being in the Woman's Missionary Society (WMS). Her three treasures in a life of love were her family, her church and her flowers, she richly sowed the garden of her life with many seeds. Special thanks to her Church family for their prayers, visits and sentiments,also to her caregivers from Concept of Care, Palliative Care Outreach with Hankinson House. Many thanks to Dr. David Thompson for his attentive care in her home. Friends will be received at the Paris Presbyterian Church, 164 Grand River Street North, Paris ON, on Wednesday, May 31st, from 1-2 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow in the Sanctuary at 2:00 p.m. Interment Paris Cemetery. Donations in lieu of flower to the Paris Presbyterian Church would be greatly appreciated.
