Obituary of George Rapai

RAPAI, George Richard In the afternoon hours of Thursday, February 16th, 2017, George slipped off this mortal coil. In a room filled with love his family said a final goodbye. His death was very unexpected and in its wake he leaves behind his beloved wife Sherry Rapai for over 44 years. Three heart broken children: Kylan (Lynn), Emese (Mike) and Julianna (Joseph), 5 grandchildren that he was so very proud of: Lyra, Jacob, Katyanna, Noah and Natausha and his brothers Paul (Judi) and Robert (Linda). He will also be dearly missed by many other family members and friends. George was a past director of the Tobacco Marketing Board and the past president of the Ontario Ginseng Coop and more recently the owner/operator of Hawksfield Farms Landscaping. Friends will be received at the BECKETT - GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Avenue, Brantford on Sunday, February 26th, from 1-3 p.m. Please come and share memories as we celebrate George's life.
