Obituary of Thomas Rivers

RIVERS, Thomas "Tom" Surrounded by loving family, Tom passed away on Thursday, February 9th, 2017 at the Brantford General Hospital, in his 80th year. Beloved partner of Francine Sioen for over 20 years, and loving husband of the late Kathleen Rivers (1990). Much loved father of Richard (Helen) Rivers, Dale (Florence) Rivers and Terry (Jenny) Rivers. Cherished grandfather of Gina, Jason, Justin, Angie, Bradley, Jonathan, Crystal, Ashlee, Amber, Kyle and Tyler and great-grandfather to many. Step-father of Rick (Joe), Randy (Julie), Ron (Jennifer) and Anita (Keith) and families. Dear brother of Helen, Marg, Pat, Fran and the late Bernard. He will also be dearly missed by many other family members and friends. Long time employee of Sternsons. Friends will be received at the BECKETT - GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Avenue, on Sunday, February 12th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow.
