Condolences
We are so very sad to hear of Joanne's passing. She was a wonderful person with such a great smile and so many interests. Her love of history, Port Ryerse, nature, and so much more inspired us. We will deeply miss her and she will always be in our hearts.
Our sympathies to Keith and all of Joanne's family and friends.

Derek, Keith, and Dave. I am deeply saddened by your loss. Having the privilege of knowing your family for as long as I have I was lucky enough to experience first hand the wonderful person that was JoAnne. I will forever miss our meetings at the front door, or our short conversations on the phone. I will especially miss her laugh. JoAnne had one of those laughs that when you heard it, no matter what type of day you were having, it brought a smile to your face.
Derek I have known you for years, and I know how close you were with your mom. I wish I was able to attend on Monday to be there to support my friend in his great time of need, but that just is not possible. Derek I will be there in spirit right along side side Mike, and Rico.
As I learned in the past when I loss those closest to me. They are never truly gone as long as we carry them in our hearts everyday wherever we go.
Derek, I am and always will be, here for you if you ever need need me. Words just cannot express how saddened I am for your loss.
John
Our thoughts are with the family, in this time of sorrow.
Love and hugs, Uncle Vern & Aunt Lois Berry, Linda & Dean Turvey and Ben, Amanda & Amara Patterson.
Like a bird singin in the rain, let grateful memories survive in time of sorrow.
"Mourn ye not o'er my departure
Mourn ye not, I go upon a journey;
I, Hiawatha, soon will have departed.
Mourn ye not: My journey is eternal.
I, Hiawatha, soon will have gone forever."
then backs away with one hand uplifted, folds his arms, raises his face to gaze over their heads. All rise, kneel and sing:
"Fare thee well, then Hiawatha;
Fare thee well, O, fare thee well forever,
Sinks the Sun, our prophet goeth onward,
Fare thee well, may stars shine on thy journey;
Oh, Hiawatha, through shadows everlasting."
Joanne, you will be missed. I can still hear you say my name, see your smile creep upon your face when something amused you, and hear you laugh. Watching you with your granddaughters was a joy to witness. I know you filled their hearts, and they yours. It was and forever will be a true testament to what unconditional love and legacy really mean.
Keith, David Derek and families our sincere condolences to all. Joanne will be missed by so many
Live, Love, Laugh. Joanne sure did! She added to our lives in so many wonderful ways! We will miss her dearly. Port Ryerse will not be the same without Jo! My condolence goes out to all who share in our sorrow. Karen
Our condolences to all of Joanne's extended family and Port Ryerse family. We met Joanne through Georgia and spent many a lovely evening with her in Port Ryerse. She was a lively, gregarious person and a fountain of knowledge. She loved her grandchildren so much and spoke of them often.
Our hearts are with you.

"Mourn ye not, for I go upon a journey. Mourn ye not!"
But I miss you like crazy.
My heart is broken to hear this sad news about Joanne. We worked together for a number of years at JAN Marketing and once the company moved to Burlington we car pooled together so we spent many hours in the car venting and having lots of laughs too. RIP Joanne x0
