Obituary of Jane Douglas

DOUGLAS, Jane Elizabeth (nee Chisholm) Died peacefully, surrounded by her family in Brantford on Friday, December 9th, 2016 in her 81st year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Jack and brother John, Jane will be dearly missed by her brother Stephen and sister-in-law Monique, her sister Susan and sister-in-law Deirdri as well as her many nieces and nephews: Leslie and David Demson; Lori Chisholm and Christopher Kozub, Ken and Connie Chisholm; Sabine, Carl and Karen Chisholm, Neil and Bobbie Chisholm; David; Kate and Naveed Moez; Ryan and Silvia Hollo; and Mark Hollo. Also among those who will miss her greatly are her grand nieces and nephews Deirdre Demson, Kennedy and Evan Chisholm; Zoe and Owen Chisholm; and Lexxie and Johnathan Hollo. Jane was a gentle, generous and kind sister and aunt who loved flowers and cooking and playing bridge and golf (back in the day). She especially loved animals and so we invite people to make donations to the SPCA or to the Brant Animal Aid Foundation in her name. At Jane's request cremation has taken place and private family services will be held at a later date.
