Lefebvre, Marjorie Grace “Molly” - April 23, 1925 – November 6, 2016. Mum passed away peacefully with family members present. Predeceased by her loving husband Marc E. Lefebvre and their son Patrick. Molly was the daughter of Reginald and Lucy Fitt and came to Canada as a “War Bride” 70 years ago. She is survived by her children Helen and her husband Rick Wright, Leslie Berndl and her husband Walter, J.M. Arthur Lefebvre and his wife Dianne, Robert and his wife Ann, Kenneth (Ken), Daphne Jeffrey and her husband John, Dina (Geraldine) Lefebvre Snarr and her husband Alan, Philip, Leonard and his wife Rosalie MacNeil, David and his wife Jennifer Ko. Also survived by her sister Phyllis in England, brother Arthur in South Africa and brother Russell in England, brother-in-law Kenneth Lefebvre and his wife Mary, sister-in-law Norma Grove and sister-in-law Geraldine McDonald and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. During her lifetime Molly was active in many organizations in Brantford some of them being The James Short Wilson Chapter of the IODE serving as President, Secretary and Municipal Regent, The Brantford General Hospital Board of Directors, Meals on Wheels, Chairperson of Birthright Brantford, St. Pius X Brantford CWL and St. Basil Brantford CWL of which she had served as President and Secretary. Molly was very involved with The Kiwanis Club of Brantford having served as the First Lady of Kiwanis International Eastern Canada and Caribean District. The family would like to thank Tranquility nursing staff, Lifeguard nurses, Eva (Bayshore) and Dr. Damboragama. Family and friends will be received at the BECKETT-GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Avenue on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Pius X Church, 9 Waverly Street, on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at 1:00 pm. Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Donations to Sleeping Children around the World, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Cancer Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated. Donations and condolences are available online at www.beckettglaves.com. A tree will be planted in memory of Molly in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
