McCREARY, Evelyn Estelle passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's Lifecare Centre, on November 1st, 2016, in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Edward McCreary Sr. (1994). Loving mother of James (Sue) Seeley and step-mother of Doreen Jones and Ted (Marie) McCreary. Much loved grandmother of Jennifer, Todd, Andrew, Buff (Kim), Kathy, Kerry (Kirby), Jamie (Dana), Kelly (Missy), Leslie, Kerby (Lori), Wendy, Jeff and David (Danielle). Evelyn was also a proud great-grandmother of 30 and a great-great-grandmother of 5. Holding a special place in her life her niece Rosemary Ferro and her nephew Gerry Parent; Evelyn was the last surviving member of the James and Anna Phillips family of 7 girls and 1 boy.She will also be dearly missed by many other family members and friends. She loved children and pussy willows and was the first female member of the Brant Artillery Gunners Club. At Evelyn's request cremation has already taken place. Friends will be received at the BECKETT - GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Avenue, on Saturday, November 12th, from 1-2:30 p.m. A Memorial Service will follow in the Chapel at 2:30 p.m. Donations in lieu of flowers to the C.N.I.B. or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
