Obituary of Katherine King

King, Katherine "Kay" (nee Balog) Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the Brantford General Hospital, on Thursday, October 20th, 2016 in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Jack King (2015). Loving mother of Donna (Herb) Zimmerman, and Bob (Candy) King. Dear "Gramma" to Paul (Sherri), Aaron (Lisa), Douglas (Cinci), Chad, and Daniel (Sherri), and her great-grandchildren Ashley, Noah, Alex, Owen, Evan, Kameron, and Katrina. Kay is survived by her sisters Stella (the late Walter), and Elsie (Hugh), and her brother Nick (Kay). She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and friends. Kay's family would like to thank Seasons Bell Lane Retirement Home for their exceptional care and compassion. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave. on Tuesday from 1 - 2 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow, in the chapel, on Tuesday at 2 p.m. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery. Donations to the Alzheimer Society of Brant, or a charity of your choice would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Kay in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
