DAVIDSON, Lyla Christine (nee Ogden) - February 8, 1923 to September 10, 2016 - Peacefully in the company of family at Brantford General Hospital. Born in Montreal and raised in Toronto, Lyla lived in Ancaster and then in Brantford since 1970. Predeceased by her husband, Karl Gilchrist Davidson. Mother of Scott (Maria), John, Mary-Anne and Murray (Doreen Staffen). Grandmother of Andrea, Chester, Elizabeth, Stephanie, Katie, Christine, Nicole and Marc. Survived by her sister, Martha Ogden of Kincardine. Lyla was a long-time and active member of Grace Anglican Church. A private family service is planned. Arrangements were entrusted to the BECKETT-GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Avenue, Brantford. Donations to the Arthritis Society in her memory would be appreciated. Donations and condolences may be placed online at www.beckettglaves.com. A tree will be planted in memory of Lyla in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest. "Grammy always saw the funny side of things and will be greatly missed".
