LaBute, June Lorraine (nee: Stevenson) - The sun rose January 15, 1927 and peacefully set on September 15, 2016. Predeceased by her devoted husband and best friend Jim. She leaves behind her 3 daughters Dianne Lashley, Georgina Towers and Debbie Stephens. June is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Tammy, Shane, Craig, Cole, Kirby and 5 great-grandchildren. Over the years she was employed with Bell, Duncan's, and the toy store at the Lynden Park Mall. She and Jim travelled extensively and upon retirement thoroughly enjoyed their trailer at Sauble Beach. She will be sorely missed by everyone that knew her. A celebration of June's life will be held at the BECKETT-GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Avenue on Saturday, September 24th from 2-4 p.m. Cremation has taken place . In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Diabetes Association or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Jim and June in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
