HODGSON, Bruce Albert Roe of Pickering, Ontario passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 24th at Rouge Valley Centenary Hospital, Scarborough at the age of 89. Bruce, a former long time resident of Brantford was predeceased in 2009 by Joyce Hodgson, his beloved wife of over 58 years. Loving father of John (Valerie), Michael (Glenna) and Jamie (Denise). Devoted grandfather of Jennifer (Patrick), Jonathon (Andellina), Josh and Meghan and Andrew. Great grandfather to Eli. Bruce will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and many friends. A celebration of Bruce's life will be held on Monday, August 29th at 2:00 p.m. at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue, Brantford. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Brant County SPCA or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
A tree will be planted in memory of Bruce in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest
