Slawich, Daniel J. - After a courageous battle, at the Juravinski Hospital , on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 in his 73rd year. Loving father of Ken ( Karen) Slawich and Kristene (Jerry) VanSickle. Cherished grandfather of Christopher. Survived by his brother Walter Slawich and sister Pat Thompson. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Hope Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Daniel in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
