Obituary of Eva Oliver

Oliver, Eva Marie (nee Damm) Passed away peacefully at the St. Joseph's Lifecare Centre, Brantford, on Wednesday, April 13th, 2016 in her 101st year. Beloved wife of the late John Oliver (1988). Much loved mother of Mary (the late Lorne) Berry. Loving grandmother of Geoff (Christie), and Scott Berry. Devoted great-grandmother to Liam and Alexandra Berry. Predeceased by her parents Lincoln and Lena Damm, her sister Audrey Blatchford (Ralph), and her niece Jan Blatchford. Survived by her three nephews Lorne, Jim, and Rob Blatchford and their families. She will be fondly remembered by all of her extended family members and friends. She enjoyed a long career as a registered nurse in both Hamilton and Brantford, and was a long time member of Grace Anglican Church. Eva's family would like to thank Dr. John Hadley, and the staff of St. Joseph's Lifecare Centre for their care and support over the past few years. At Eva's request, cremation has been arranged through the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave. A Memorial Service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, April 16th, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. with visitation for one hour prior to the service. Interment to be held at a later date. Donations to Grace Anglican Church, 4 Pearl St. Brantford N3T 3N4 , St. Joseph's Lifecare Centre, 99 Wayne Gretzky Pkwy, Brantford N3S 6T6 , or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.A tree will be planted in memory of Eva in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
