Obituary of John Woodward

Woodward, John E. "Big John" Passed away peacefully at the General Hospital, on Saturday, February 20th, 2016, in his 65th year. Loving father of Sheila (Tim) Sharpe, and Donna (Roger) Stewart. Grandfather of Nicole, Eric, Alex, Ella, Jessica, Lachlan, and Georgia. He is survived by his sisters Barbara (Jim) Miller, and Vicki Woodward. Predeceased by his parents Jack and Betty (nee Pearce), his brothers Bob, Danny, and Jimmy. He will also be fondly remembered by Debbie Woodward (nee Adams), Leanna, Heather and Karina Eaves, and many other family members and friends. John was a long time member of the Lynden Legion, and loved his old cars. Friends are invited to gather at the Lynden Legion, 206 Lynden Rd, Lynden, on Saturday, February 27th from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. for a celebration of his life. A tree will be planted in memory of John in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
