Thistle, Francis "Frank" - Passed away peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on Tuesday, February 15, 2016 in his 68th year. Beloved brother of Evangeline (Mike) Nelligan, Ann (Doug) Boucher, David Thistle and Dan Thistle (Catherine) and predeceased by brothers Stewart and Jack Thistle. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Sincere thank you to all of Frank's friends who visited during his recent time in the hospital especially Dave and Betty Drieger. Friends will be received at the BECKETT-GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Avenue on Saturday from 1 pm - 2 pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 2:00 pm. followed by cremation. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. Donations, condolences and live funeral web-casting are available online at www.beckettglaves.com. A tree will be planted in memory of Francis in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
