Passed away suddenly, at the Brantford General Hospital on Wednesday, January 27th, 2016 in his 69th year. Cherished husband and best friend of the late Carol Symington (2011). Loving father of Michael Green. Dear grandfather of 2 granddaughters Chelsea and Shanna Green. He is survived by his sister Shelley MacLeod, his niece Tara, nephew Brandon, grand-niece Kiera, and his sister Nada Court. He will also be fondly remembered by his many other close friends that he considered his extended family. According to Garnet's wishes, cremation has been entrusted to the BECKETT - GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Avenue, 519-752-4331. Family and friends will be received for a Celebration of Life at 17 Magee Street, Brantford, ON, on Sunday, February 7th, 2016 from 1 - 4 p.m.
A tree will be planted in memory of Garnet in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
