Obituary of Ida "June" Duboy

DUBOY (nee Persall), Ida "June" Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 29th, 2015, in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Charles, and loving mother of the late Larry, the late Brian (Tracy), Allan (the late Jean), Wendy, Jim (the late Lisa), and Cheri (Ken). She will be lovingly remembered by her many grandchildren & great-grandchildren. She is pre-deceased by two sisters and three brothers, leaving to mourn her brother Cliffe. She will also be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. June was an Air Force bride, and followed her husband across Canada and back. Cold Lake, Alberta was her favorite place to have lived over the years. She was also a devoted mother, and enjoyed music, gardening, and playing darts. We will all remember her impish sense of humour. We are thankful for the excellent care June received in her last years at Tranquility Place and during the past several months at the Brantford General Hospital, as well as with CCAC. We are also grateful for the wonderful support Worship Leader Robert Lawson gave to June and her family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to BECKETT-GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Ave., (519) 752-4331. A service to remember June & celebrate her life will be held at a later date. Donations in June’s memory may be made to the Brantford General Hospital or Stedman Community Hospice. A tree will be planted in memory of June in the Beckett - Glaves Memorial Forest.
