VanSickle, Violet Irene (nee: Dawdy) - Went to sleep in the arms of Jesus at the John Noble Home on Wednesday July 1st 2015. She was in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Benjamin Franklin VanSickle for 51 years. Much loved mother to Laverne and John VanSickle and Shirley Ellen VanSickle Bolan. Survived by her sister Shirley Hingley. Predeceased by her siblings Goldie, Fred, Wesley, Leslie, Walter, Alvin, Herb and Peter Dawdy and Hazel Minns, Eva Baker and Eileen Morgan. Violet was a devoted member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Brantford. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue on Monday, July 6th, 2015 from 12-1 p.m. A funeral service will follow in the chapel at 1 p.m. Interment will take place at VanSickle Cemetery, Jerseyville. Donations to the ADRA.org would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Violet in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
