Obituary of Norma Learmonth

LEARMONTH, Norma May (nee Townsend) - Passed away peacefully at Riverview Terrace, on Wednesday, September 7th, 2011, in her 100th year. Beloved wife of the late James Learmonth (1998). Loving mother of Robert and Lois Learmonth, of Bloomsburg, and Hugh and Joan Learmonth, of St. Catharines. Devoted grandmother of Heather and Rick Meulemeester, James and Jessie Learmonth, and Jeff (Kellie McComb) Learmonth, and her great-grandson Gabriel Learmonth. She is predeceased by three sisters and one brother. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave., on Friday from 7 - 9 p.m. and on Saturday from 2 - 3 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. A private family interment will be held at a later date at Oakland Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Norma in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
