Condolences
I'm so sorry. My Grandparents(Inez and Robert McGinley) were very close friends. I remember having a few vacations at the cottage in Penetang. When my Grandma passed away, Shirley remained a very close friend to my Gramps. She was at my wedding in 2002. What a wonderful lady. My thoughts are with the family.
I had the privilege to live with Shirley years ago. I had just returned to Brantford, my home town, and had just finished with some serious health issues. Shirley opened up her home to me, during a time when I needed a helping hand. I remember sharing tea with her and toast in the morning for breakfast, always having some kind of funny conversation. Mostly I remember, my cat, having babies underneath her dresser in the middle of the night. What was even funnier, is we did not even know she was pregnant. Shirley took it all in stride, as we found homes for all the kittens. A caring, compassionate women who left foot prints on my heart, and carried me when I needed it. May you rest in peace Shirley.

Your mother Shirley was a wonderful, funny, generous lady who I had the pleasure of working with for many years. I am sorry for your loss, my thoughts are with you.
On behalf of myself and Randy Harwood, we express our sadness of the passing of your mother. May you find comfort in knowing that your mother touched the lives of many here in Brantford. I know she touched my heart, when i was in need and am sure I was one of many she touched. May you find comfort with knowing this, along with the extend heart and hands of friends and family during the days to come.
