Obituary of Jacqueline MacVicar

MacVICAR, Jacqueline Ann "Jackie" - Passed away at the Brantford General Hospital, after a courageous battle with scleroderma, on Friday, August 26th, 2011 in her 69th year. Beloved wife of Lorne (Sandy) for over 47 years. Loving mother of Marcia and Darren (Chrissy). Also sadly missed by her grand-dog Diesel. She is survived by her sister Lydia (Clare). Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Henrietta Geslak. She will be fondly remembered by all of her family and many friends. A special thank you to the staff at St. Paul Family Medical Centre, especially Dr. Jeff Manning, for going above and beyond while helping her fight the good fight. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, (519) 752-4331. A Private Graveside Service will be held at a later date. Donations to the Scleroderma Society of Ontario would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Jacqueline in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
