DOUGLAS, John "Jack" Wilson - Passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, May 16th, 2011, in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Leone for over 61 years. Loving father of Elaine Douglas (Caid), Jeff (Kelly). Devoted "Grandad" to Cassandra, and Krista. He is survived by his twin brother Tom and his wife Mary, his nephew Paul and his wife Sue and their children. He will be fondly remembered by all of his family members and friends. He loved his trailer at Shore Acres Park in Port Dover where he and Leone spent much of their free time for the past 40+ years. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave., Brantford on Wednesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. and on Thursday from 12 - 1 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. Cremation. Donations to the Kidney Foundation or Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Jack in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
