My sister Marnie told me Richard passed away. I live in Tulsa, Oklahoma now but I remember Richard as a childhood friend. We went to James Hillier Elementary School together and studied in the same classroom. Later as teenagers we both played in the Royal Canadian Legion Band.

I am so very shocked and saddened to learn the tragic news about a wonderful person and special friend, the inimitable Rich Greiner. It seems inconceivable that his BIG presence will no longer be physical. He has been dear to me for decades for he was an amazingly kind, funny, sweet guy who loved life, and people, and especially his family, so very much. My heart breaks for you. I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers. God bless you all. Arlene
