Our deepest sympathies during your time of loss.
My heart goes out to each and everyone of you. Anyone who has had the pleasure of meeting Doris knows what a special women she was. Always had a heart of gold, a smile on her face and an offer of a cup of tea. I'll always remember and cherish the times I was blessed to be in her company. Rest in peace Doris you left this earthly life for a more special life with our Lord. I'm sure you are up in heaven with all your family that has passed before you and I know you will be there to greet with open arms all the family that will eventually join you. God Bless always....Love Pat

We would like to send our deepest condolences to the family. We got to know Doris while we lived in the building and later became superintendant. Doris was a sweet lady who was always smiling going for her walks and going to store. She was always very friendly whenever we seen her.We will miss her smile.
I remember going to Grandma and Grandpa's for Xmas dinner!!!We would have a terrific meal and conversations. Then as the day would come to an end we(mostly the kids)would magically hear the sounds of sleigh bells from the back porch.I remember feeling excitement and waiting to see what would happen next??Grandma would always have a surprised look on her face but a huge smile as well. Then she would have one of us go out and see what was there and as always there was toys and treats for everyone!!She would say it was some little things Santa had forgotten to deliver!!or he wanted us to have before!!!I wonder were those bells are now???
Who keeps bananas in their oven? Grandma does ;)
One of Grandma's favorite places to eat was at Country Kitchen for a foot long hot dog. Although she ordered the huge meal she would always give you her fries and half of her hotdog. But it was a staple to go there. I am sure the couple that work there will miss her and Uncle Ken's biweekly visits.
Every time we (Chris, Monica and myself) went to Grandma's house I would play cards with her for hours. She would always set me up with a glass of juice, my 'apple pie' - cut up apple in a bowl, and marshmallows. She must have taught me that game a thousand times, but we played it every time the deck of cards was brought out. The last time Mark and I were over there she taught us 2 new games of solitaire, and decided to initiate Mark by teaching him Kings in the Corner.
Alicia and Mark, Our sincere sympathy to you and all your family. Take Care. "Do not weep because she is gone, smile because she lived" :)
Please accept our deepest of sympathies for your loss. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Rest in peace Aunt Doris. oxxo Samantha, Cindy, Glenn, Morgan
