EBERL, Matthaus (Matt) - Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at the Stedman Community Hospice in his 90th year. Beloved husband of Hilda. Loving father of Judy (Norm) L'abbe of B.C., Martin (Donna) and Bryant. Much loved grandfather of Crystal, Jason, Dean, David, Emma, Josh, Laura and Shannon. Great-grandfather to many. Matt was a long time employee of Canadian Bluebird Coach, a faithful servant to the New Apostolic Church and a lover of the great outdoors. A Memorial Service will be held at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue on Saturday, January 29th at 1:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place. Donations to the Stedman Community Hospice would be appreciated. A very special thanks to the wonderful homecare staff and nurses, and for the loving care he received at the Stedman Community Hospice. Also to Frank and Priest Williams for your wonderful warmth and kindness and being there. A tree will be planted in memory of Matt in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
