LININGTON, Joan Marie (nee Walton) - Gone to be with her Lord on Monday, December 27th, 2010 in her 75th year. Beloved wife of the late Earl Kenneth Linington (1994). Loving mother of Joanne Smith, William, Debra (Mike) Bevaart, Julie Corliss, Mathew, and David Linington. Devoted grandmother of Joni, Debra Leigh, Ann Marie, William, Adrienne, Jacob, and Mathew, and 6 great-grandchildren. She is survived by her sisters Margaret (Bill) Vieveen, and Edith (Bob) Mountjoy, and her brother Robert (Linda) Walton. Predeceased by her parents George and Edith Walton and her brother William. Joan was a long time active member of the Church of Christ. She retired from Extend Communications (T.A.S.) in 1989. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave., on Wednesday from 2 - 3 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel on Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. Pastor Michael Bevaart officiating. Cremation. Donations to the Church of Christ (Temple Lot), P.O. Box # 38, Teeterville, ON. N0E 1S0, or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Joan in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
